If you have found artwork on my website that you are interested in, please call or email me and I will let you know if it is still available.  If you would like custom artwork created, please let me know.  


Custom artwork is always accepted.  Just let me know what you are interested in and I will work with you to make something special.  


I require a 25% non-refundable deposit prior to starting commissioned artwork.


I will need a high-resolution clear photo or two of the subject(s).  If there are any unique details that you would like included in the artwork please be sure to show them in the photo(s) if possible.  All photos will be returned with the finished artwork.  If you need help picking out photos, I would be happy to help.    (Tips for taking good photos:  Use natural lighting without the flash.  Try taking the photo from an interesting angle.  Try to achieve good contrast between the subject and the background.)

 If you are within a reasonable driving distance from where I live, an appointment can be scheduled for me to photograph the subject(s).  There will be no extra charge for this service. 


If the artwork is needed by a specific time, please let me know in advance and I will do what I can to accommodate your request.  Please allow 2-3 weeks for the completion of most artwork.  Larger artwork may take longer depending on the size and complexity of the piece and acrylic paintings may require more time for varnishing.  I can send progress photos via email or social media throughout the creative process.  


 Prior to starting a commission I can, upon request, create a preliminary drawing.  If you approve of this preliminary drawing, then I will start the artwork.  This is helpful when there are several subjects in one piece of artwork.  This allows you to have a good idea of what the completed artwork will look like before it gets started.  
 A watermarked image of the finished artwork will be emailed to you for your approval.  (The watermark will not be on the finished artwork, it is only for web viewing.)  After your approval of the finished artwork, the remainder of the balance due is to be paid in full prior to shipping the artwork or delivering (if local). 


 Matting and framing can be provided for local customers.  The prices are not included in my prices below and vary depending on the size of the artwork.   


 Payment types accepted:  MasterCard, Visa, and Discover through PayPal (no PayPal account is necessary to do this), PayPal, postal money orders,  and personal checks.  All payments must clear before I ship or deliver the artwork.  


 I ship USPS mail.  All artwork will be shipped within 3-5 business days after your approval and the final payment clears.  The shipping prices are not included in my prices below and may vary depending on the size of the artwork and the shipping location.   If you need alternative shipping, please let me know.

For my acrylic art, I use Liquitex Heavy body Artists Acrylics and Liquitex Basics Acrylic paints on gallery wrapped heavy duty canvas primed with Liquitex Gesso.  I apply Liquitex matte or high gloss varnish in several layers.

For my graphite art, I use Staedtler Mars Lumograph graphite pencils or Caran d'Ache Grafwood graphite pencils on Strathmore 500 
series Bristol 2-ply plate paper (archival quality) and I apply matte finish Grumbacher Final Fixative.

For my colored pencil art, I use Caran d'Ache Luminance colored pencils, Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils or Prismacolor (only the lightfast) on Strathmore 500 series
Bristol 2-ply vellum paper (archival quality) and I apply matte finish Grumbacher Final Fixative.
